Kitchen Hardware

I don't think I ever posted about our kitchen hardware.

I wanted it to be clean, sleek, and simple.

These handles and knobs are just that.

Vent Hood Extension

We finally ordered the extension piece for our hood.  Only a little blood was shed during the installation of this monster.  11 foot ceilings didn't make it an easy install.

Microwave Frame

The Hubs has been working hard again on a few projects.  One thing that has been on the list from the beginning is to build a frame around the microwave so that it appears that it's built-in even though it's not.

Storage Room

The Hubs has been working on shelving in our cold storage room.

 I decided to put all of my bins in here, even though they didn't necessarily need to be in "cold storage." Eventually, they'd have to be put somewhere when we finish the rest of the basement, so I figured I had the room, I might as well use it!

The Little Guys are just breaking things in for us!

Mantle Update

The mantle is FINISHED!!

It took a few steps to get it lookin' just right!

Here's what it looks like currently:

It turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it.

That man of mine sure is amazing!

Master Closet... In Progress

The master closet has been a work in progress since we closed and moved in.

Here's what we started with:

 We lived like this for a while.

 Until I couldn't handle it anymore.

 The Hubs and Little Guy built me a closet!

 Looks great, right?

 And how fun is this?

It's a bulletin board behind the fabric, so I can just pin my jewelry on it!

I know, right?  Genius!

I still keep my silver stuff inside the jewelry box so it doesn't tarnish, but I'm loving this other option.

We still need to build some drawers, but I am loving it thus far!
